The First City Monument Bank is calling for application for the 3rd edition of the FCMB Agritech Epic Pitch 2020. This opportunity is open to tech startups in the agriculture sector to grow and scale their businesses.

It’s interesting how government and private organisation are seeking ways to support entrepreneurs during this pandemic. The Corona Virus has impacted many businesses and a lot of businesses have closed shops. But, with initiatives like these, the effect of COVID-19 will be minimal on the economy. Entrepreneurs have to apply and take these opportunities seriously.

About The FCMB Agrictech Epic Pitch 2020

In this edition, First City Monument Bank (FCMB) partners with Passion Incubator to launch the program. And, it is themed “Redefining and repositioning agricultural value chains during and post the COVID-19 era”

Basically, FCMB is playing its part in growing the Agricultural Technology sector and providing early to growth-stage entrepreneurs with prerequisite resources to grow and scale their Agritech businesses.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the 2020 edition would be a virtual engagement. The virtual program will support 2 Agritech startups with ₦1.5M Grant, Access to workspace, market & network that stimulates innovation, collaboration, and business growth.

The program will focus on the following Agricultural value chain solutions;

  • Processing/Production/Storage
  • Agricultural Finance
  • Agricultural Marketing
  • Supply chain
