About NTEEP 2021
Nomfro Technologies’ Entrepreneurship Empowerment Project (NTEEP-2021) in its first edition seeks to identify and support innovative startups whose activities can create solutions and employment in Africa.
As countries slowly re-open from the lockdown, businesses – especially small and medium enterprises (SME) are confronted with challenging business environments where consumers not only have far less money to spend but will also restrict their movements and minimize their physical interactions.
In this ‘new normal’, consumers are increasingly turning to the internet to purchase goods and services. And with the possibility of more infections and lockdowns on the horizon, both new and current SMEs in the internet space need to make their businesses as resilient as possible very quickly.
Therefore, this project will provide over 500 startup entrepreneurs across Africa with $500 worth of credit each. The credit will be used to cover costs of business websites or e-commerce website development and mentorship program for participants.
In order to qualify for the funding, you must meet the following criteria;
- Your business must be operating in Africa
- The startup should be in idea-stage or early-stage
- You can demonstrate the potential for future scale.
- As a startup, you can apply by completing the application form.
- Then, NTEEP team will connect with you directly to learn more about your business needs and complete on-boarding.
- The online session will start from 18-22 January 2021
- And, regular updates on 2021 events, training, and opportunities will be shared with the community
NTEEP charges a registration fee of N15,000 for Nigerian start-ups and $50 for the rest of African start-ups. And, the fee covers the costs of hosting and domain registration.
The deadline for application for the NTEEP 2021 is December 22, 2020. Do you need digital solutions to scale up your business in this pandemic, apply now using this link; https://nomfro.com/nteep2020/
