Connect Nigeria is set to host the 2020 edition of its annual Business Fair with the aim to empower over 1 million businesses and entrepreneurs in Nigeria. The theme, 2020 Vision is a two-day event that will feature sessions on leading-edge topics, workshops and networking platforms. Also, it will avail entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs the opportunity to acquire knowledge and make valuable connections.

The event will hold on the 6th and 7th of March 2020, at the Tafawa Balewa Square, Lagos, Nigeria. Generally, it will host speakers across the country who will be sharing knowledge and expertise in the field of business.

Connect Nigeria Business Fair

The Connect Nigeria’s Business Fair initiative began in 2011, with the aim of fostering collaboration and empowering businesses. It is an annual business fair held in Lagos with thousands of attendees, thereby making it one of the biggest SMEs event in Africa.

The primary objective is to educate entrepreneurs and business owners on how to grow and build strong business networks. During the event, small to large businesses come, exhibit and participate. Also, it holds conference, seminars, workshops and business exhibition. Overtime, CNBIZFAIR has empowered several businesses in Nigeria.

8th Edition of the Connect Nigeria Business Fair – 2020 Vision

The 2020 edition business fair will feature activities such as Hackathon, and discussions around; Information and Communications Technology (ICT), Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Financial Technology.

The 2020 vision event will host Conference and Exhibition simultaneously. The Exhibition hall will center around business development activities. Then, globally-acclaimed business leaders from various industries will engage business executives in the conference hall.

In addition, there will be session topics revolving around entrepreneurship from diverse industries like; Agriculture, Manufacturing, Technology, Media and Entertainment.

What To Expect

When speaking about the event in a press conference, the CEO, Connect Nigeria, Mr Emeka Okafor reiterate the purpose of the event and its essence to Nigerians. According to him, “the purpose of the event is to see businesses grow to the next level. The SMEs will use the information they gather from the Business Fair to grow their businesses.

What we are doing is for the good and greater Nigeria. We strongly believe that if we are to move from where we are today to where we ought to be, thousands and millions of businesses need to be very viable in Nigeria. This will provide the needed jobs, needed income.”
