E-money whose real names are Emeka Okonkwo is the younger brother of the popular Nigerian singer and performer – Kcee. He was born in Ajegunle, Lagos, Nigeria on the 18th of February 1981.

While some people call him E-money, some others call him Arab money, because of his generosity and lavish lifestyle. He is married to Juliet, and they are blessed with three cute boys. E-money’s wife and sons are based in the United Kingdom, while he is based in Lagos.

E-money didn’t grow up with a silver spoon, he hustled all through to make ends meet. Things were so hard to the extent that he had to borrow transport fare from his brother to bring his wife back to Lagos, after their traditional wedding in the East. The narrative of his life, however, changed on his way back to Lagos, after he got a call to execute a contract worth $2 million.

E-money Cars And Houses

E-money lives in a gold furnished mansion worth over N250 million in Omole Estate, Ikeja, Lagos. Apart from the mansion, He has several other houses and fleets of cars. Some of his car collections are; a Mercedes Benz Sprinter worth about N30 million and an armoured 2017 Lexus LX 570 Jeep which costs over $90,000. He also got his brother Kcee – a Mercedes Benz G Wagon worth N20 million as a birthday gift.

E-money is the owner of the Five Star Group. The company produces made in Nigeria tomato paste, sweet corn, coconut milk, and mackerel in tomato sauce. They are also involved in the oil and gas business.

5- Star Media

E-money established 5-Star Music in 2010, but the record label wasn’t in the limelight until 2013, when they released Kcee’s Limpopo. Kcee is the most prominent artist of the record label, although, Harrysong – who is no longer part of the record label, was said to be the brain behind the label’s success.

5- Star Media signed Harrysong in 2013. Harrysong became a pillar of the record label by helping with voice training, directing and writing songs, etc. Harrysong eventually left 5-star media in 2016, to start his own record label. Meanwhile, in 2014, the company signed another artiste – Skiibii, who also left after 3 years. Skiibii became popular after pulling a death stunt in August 2015.

The record label decided to expand in 2017 so, they hired a new artiste manager as part of their expansion plans. The manager – Chidozie Dike handles all matters concerning 5-Star media.
