Selection Criteria

To apply, your business should be in seed to Series A stage with technologies focused in the following;

  2. Food safety
  3. Indoor farming
  4. Biotechnology
  5. Farm Management
  6. Sensing and IoT
  7. Animal Health and Livestock
  8. Robotics & Automation
  9. Innovative Food (Ingredient Innovation)
  10. Big Data and Predictive Analytics
  11. Supply Chain, Management, and Traceability
  12. Packaging & Freshness Solutions

Majorly, the winning company will;

  1. Receive the Thrive Africa Challenge Award and advance to the finals of the Global Thrive Accelerator Program with an opportunity to be selected for the THRIVE VII Cohort in Silicon Valley, CA
  2. Also, the Thrive Africa Challenge Recognition Award
  3. Silicon Valley Startup Bootcamp (Summer 2021) for max. 2 founders, conducted by THRIVE (US$ 15k value total, including travel, food, and accommodations).
  4. Invitation to pitch at the THRIVE VII Accelerator Finals. And, selected companies will receive investment and the opportunity to pitch at THRIVE|Forbes Demo Day 2021 in Salinas, CA, USA
  5. Then, recognition by SVG Thrive.
