To advance social sustainability and inclusion, Connect Lab is now receiving applications for the Women In Business Growth Lab. This a program for women-led startups and it aims to stimulate businesses into profitable enterprises and to accelerate gender equality in the Africa tech-ecosystem.

So, if you are a female entrepeneur or start-up founder in Nigeria, this program is for you.

About Women In Business Growth Lab

The Women in Business Growth Lab is a 3-month program for early-stage women-led startup-ups in Nigeria. The aim of the initiative is to stimulate businesses into profitable & sustainable enterprises to accelerate the creation of jobs on the continent. Also, it is aimed at fostering gender equality and bridging the gap in the African tech ecosystem through impact investment for the attainment of Africa we want: Agenda 2063.

Connect Lab, an African focused Innovation Lab launched a female entrepreneurship development programme. It is designed to reduce the inequalities and barriers affecting women in business by accelerating progress in gender equality through entrepreneurship development, learning, and access to finance.

Also, through this program, Connect Lab will be supporting 40 female entrepreneurs covering four programme components; The Co-creation and Value Proposition Bootcamp, Incubation Programme, Women in Business Deal Day, and the Growth Mentorship Exchange.

Eligibility Criteria

To apply, you must meet the following criteria;

  1. You should be passionate about accelerating your startup.
  2. You should be between the ages of 18 to 35
  3. Applicants must be the founder, Co-founder or CTO of the start-up
  4. Must have an early-stage/Minimum Viable Product (MVP) Start-up
  5. You must be physically available to attend the program in Abuja
  6. You must be a female
