Pangea Scale Up Accelerator

Pangea, the Norwegian accelerator has announced a call for applications from suitably qualified startups on the African continent for the Pangea Scale Up Accelerator for African Startups.

The company says it is launching the 2021 edition of the Scale Up accelerator to find the best startups across the continent of Africa, and help grow them from the seed stage to Series A round.

Pangea is going to be supporting the startups selected for the accelerator in three distinct ways:

Investment

The Pangea scale up accelerator for African startups says that it is committed to helping the startups that enter the accelerator program find funding between $0.5 – $3 Million to help them scale their businesses.

Fundraising

Pangea also says that it will help startups that enter the program with fundraising in the post-acceleration phase, thereby helping them cut the amount of time spent on investor meetings by almost half.

Support

Startups that enter the accelerator program will also be supported to grow from Seed to A-round funding. The program says that it believes that by supporting these startups we can strengthen their home countries’ economies through job creation.

Who Can Apply?

To qualify for the Pangea Scale Up Accelerator, a startup must meet the following requirements:

  • Impact driven startups in the following sectors: Fintech, HealthTech, Logistics, Agriculture, Renewable Energy, and Digital Solutions,
  • A strong and agile team
  • Technology-focused companies
  • Traction
